Ruari is a filmmaker born and raised in London. He attended Durham University, where he studied philosophy, before earning his MA in filmmaking at the London Film School. There he developed a broad skillset through directing, editing and photographing short films.

Ruari now works as a freelance film and vertical drama director in London. His most recent work has been directing micro dramas for platforms such as Goodshort and Dramabox, with shows that have generated tens of millions of views.
